Kimberly West of Tempo Temperaments announces a new award to be given out.
EXTENDED NOMINATIONS: Due date extended
to July 30, 2010
The Harmony Honors Awards are new this year. We seek nominations to worthy people who exemplify each
of the four main personality styles. We especially want to honor those people who "sing harmony" to others
leadership.
These people might be more of a Waltz, easy-going, don't want the spot light. Or maybe you know of
a Swing who might not have the best grades, but they sure brighten up your life. You get the idea.
Or course we also
want to honor the leaders, the one who usually sings "the melody." Sometimes this may be the Salsa's out there with
their big ideas and strong leadership abilities. The point is to honor everyone for their special part they bring to
life.
Like a song of four-part harmony, ALL styles/temperaments are needed.
Go to www.TempoTemperaments.com
for more details. Nominations need to be in by July 30, 2010.
All nominations will be posted to our website and their
names sent out in a press release. Winners chosen by our staff will win a full-color certificate, their name/photo in the
local paper and a product gift certificate for $50.
Kimberly West of www.TempoTemperaments.com released an announcement for several event gigs/jobs available. A few of the
positions wanted are event planners, speakers, and ballroom dancers.
All details can be viewed on the website. Most
major cities are needed, with special emphasis in the Minneapolis area.
Tempo Temperaments is a unique seminar/product
business that uses ballroom dance as examples of the four main personality styles.
www.TempoTemperaments.com founder Kimberly West will be a guest judge for a program like "Dancing with the Stars"
at the Music Man Square Saturday, March 7, 2009.
The program is in Mason City, Iowa which happens to be the hometown
of The Music Man himself Meredith Willson. (Yes, there are two "L"s in his name!) Local "celebrities"
will be dancing for an audience of their peers to raise money for a local charity, NIVC who helps people with disabilities.
Kimberly
says, "I think seeing the president of the largest employer in the area (Mercy Hosp.) get out there and dance a swing
is great! I am honored to be a judge and really look forward to a fun evening."
West was chosen because she is
a speaker/author and former Sunday Lifestyles Columnist and is a ballroom dancer herself. She also has created the only personality
temperament typing system that uses ballroom dance as examples of each style: www.TempoTemperaments.com.
